What is Helium and what are it’s main benefits

Helium is a new kind of wireless network – The People-Powered Network. It’s fully decentralized and consists of thousands of hotspots, owned by ordinary people or various organizations. The network is based on the LoRaWAN® wireless standard. This technology grants coverage of 2 km in urban areas and up to 15 km in rural areas.
