McGill Microwave Systems 6DBI Tuned Antenna (US 915)

This McGill Microwave Systems antenna is created to offer peak performance for Helium network hotspots. The antenna is created and optimized for the US 915 frequency band which is also used in Canada.

It’s optimized only for the US915 frequency to provide maximum results. In contrast, universal antennas, made to work with both the EU868 and the US915 frequencies, result in less optimal performance and thus less HNT earnings. This is why it’s better to opt for optimized products which also follow local regulations.

It operates in the following frequencies: 902 – 929 MHz US 915, US 902-928, AU 915, NZ 915, AS 923-1/2/3, KR 920. The antenna gain is 6dBi and maximum power is up to 50W. The polarization is vertical.

It is rated for wind speeds of up to 120km/h. There’s also a mounting bracket included.

The McGill Microwave Systems Antenna uses an N Type Male connector. It is 550mm high and its diameter is 20mm. The antenna weight is 0.8kg and is made from fiberglass.

The antenna offers VSWR performance of 1.5:1 with +7% of improvement for transmitted power along with reduced mis-match loos when compared to commercially available 2:1 VSWR performance. The McGill Microwave Systems antenna has 35+/-1 degrees 6(dBi) signal radiation footprint.
