Milesight Controller UC500 Series

The Milesight LoRaWAN Controller UC500 is a great way to connect multiple sensors and control them via a single point. You can use it as a pulse counter and connect a gas meter, water meter and a flow meter or take advantage of the industrial interfaces RS232, RS485, GPIO and the analog input.

This Controller supports the industry standard LoRaWAN® (frequencies – CN470/IN865/EU868/AU915/US915/KR920/AS923 – a leading IoT – ready wireless technology. It’s secure, reliable, mobile and easy to use. It’s compatible with all LoRaWAN® gateways, including Helium hotspot miners. LoRaWAN® guarantees a range of 15 km in rural areas and 2 km in urban areas.

The UC500 series has two versions – UC501 and the UC502. The first one features a rechargeable, 2 × 2550 mAh battery with solar panel. The UC502 features a Non-rechargeable, built-in 19000 mAh Li-SOCl2 battery. Both are easy to install on walls or poles.

Configuration of the sensor is very easy via mobile phone or PC and NFC (Near Field Communication) interface. Other interfaces on the device are 2 × GPIO; 1 × RS485/RS232 switchable; 1 × 3.3 V output; 1 × 5/9/12 V output switchable; 2 × analog input; 1 × 3.3 V output; 1 × 5/9/12 V output switchable.

The Milesight LoRaWAN Controller UC500 Series supports the Milesight IoT Cloud, accessible through web interface and mobile app (Android/iOS) with touchscreen interface. The cloud allows you to turn on and off your electrical devices remotely at any time.
