Milesight EM300-MCS Magnetic Contact Switch

Milesight EM300-MCS Magnetic Contact Switch is a cutting edge IoT device able to detect the opening or closing of doors and windows. This makes it very suitable for apartments and holiday properties, offices, warehouses, administrative buildings, factories, and even showrooms and retail stores.

The contact switch supports the industry standard LoRaWAN® (frequencies – CN470 / RU864 / IN865 / EU868 / US915 / AU915 / KR920 / AS923) – a leading IoT – ready wireless technology. It’s secure, reliable, mobile and easy to use. It’s compatible with all LoRaWAN® gateways, including Helium hotspot miners. LoRaWAN® guarantees a range of 15 km in rural areas and 2 km in urban areas.

In addition Milesight EM300-MCS has high sensitive sensor for temperature and humidity monitoring. It provides ±0.3℃ accuracy of temperature measurement ranging from -30℃ to 70℃ and ±3% RH of humidity – from 0% to 100% RH.

The magnetic contact switch is waterproof (IP67 standard) which expands the application scenarios including exposure to rain, snow and other unfriendly conditions. It’s compact (88 x 87 x 27 mm.) and it can be placed almost everywhere.

Milesight EM300-MCS works with one Li-SOCl2 battery (4000 mAh) with up to 10 years service life. It has dual battery holders and one battery by default.

Configuration of EM300-MCS is very easy via mobile phone or PC and NFC (Near Field Communication) interface.

Milesight EM300-MCS works with the Milesight IoT Cloud, accessible through web interface and mobile app (Android/iOS) with touchscreen interface. This allows you to remotely monitor door and windows status as well as temperature and humidity data. If you have other smart sensors from Milesight you can also combine their data for better insights.
