MileSight Light Sensor EM500-LGT

The MileSight Light Sensor EM500-LGT is made to help you detect ambient light intensity in harsh environments. As such you can use it for brightness control in rooms or venues, for security purposes and also for horticulture, floriculture or other uses.

The EM500-LGT features a wide measuring range from 0 to 100 000 lux. It has a fast response time of 1 second. This allows it to accurately detect even the smallest changes in light. As such you can use it for farming and other purposes in confidence.

This IoT sensor supports the LoRaWAN standard in the following frequencies: CN470/RU864/IN865/EU868/US915/AU915/KR920/AS923. TX Power is 20dBm and sensitivity is -137dBm @300bps. LoRaWAN® is a leading IoT – ready wireless technology. It’s secure, reliable, mobile and easy to use. It’s compatible with all LoRaWAN® gateways, including Helium hotspot miners. LoRaWAN® guarantees a range of 15 km in rural areas and 2 km in urban areas.

The IoT sensor uses a built-in 19000 mAh Li-SOCL2 Battery which can operate for up to 10 years. The transceiver’s body is IP66 rated (IP67 as required) and the light sensor has IP65 rating.

Configuration of the EM500-LGT is very easy via mobile phone or PC and NFC (Near Field Communication) interface. The dimensions are 156.1 × 71 × 69.5 mm which makes it easy to mount on DIN rails, walls or poles.

The Milesight LoRaWAN Light Sensor EM500-LGT supports the Milesight IoT Cloud, accessible through web interface and mobile app (Android/iOS) with touchscreen interface. The cloud allows you to turn on and off your electrical devices remotely at any time.
