Milesight Soil Moisture, Temperature and Electrical conductivity sensor EM500-SMTC

The Milesight EM500-SMTC sensor is your choice to accurately and instantly measure soil moisture, temperature and electrical conductivity. The sensor comes with an external probe which you can place in the soil of your farm or greenhouse.

This IoT (Internet of Things) device features LoRaWAN wireless transmission and operates in: CN470/RU864/IN865/EU868/AU915/US915/KR920/AS923. It’s suitable for the Helium network.

The temperature sensor works between -40 ~ 80°C in 0.1°C increments. Accuracy is within ±0.5°C.

The moisture sensor works in the range 0 ~100% RH with 0.01% RH steps. It also has 2% RH (0 ~ 50%), 3% RH (50 ~ 100%).

Next, the electrical conductivity is in the range 3% RH (50 ~ 100%). Accuracy is as follows: ±3% (0 ~ 10000 µS/cm), ±5% (10000 ~ 20000 µS/cm).

The Milesight EM500-SMTC sensor offers research-grade accuracy in multiple soil types. It’s also suitable to use for undisturbed soil and offers rapid monitoring during plant growth.

You can mount the sensor on a rail, pole or a wall. It has a IP66 (Transceiver, IP67 as required) rating. The battery is built-in and it is 19000 mAh Li-SOCl2. It offers up to 10 years of service life.
