Milesight Submersible Water Level Sensor EM500-SWL

The Milesight EM500-SWL sensor is suitable to monitor water levels. You can use it in open water applications or in tanks. It’s submersible, but fully sealed to prevent corrosion and failure.

The EM500-SWL features a customizable measuring range of up to 200m. Accuracy is ±0.5% FS. You can use an additional probe and it has to be at least 1-1.5m longer than the measuring range chosen.

The EMM500-SWL also has a submersible pressure sensor which is not affected by foam, wind or rain. While the main measuring medium is water, you can customize the device for oil or other non-corrosive liquids.

This Milesight series of sensors uses LoRaWAN for a wireless transmission of its data. It allows the use of ultra-low power consumption sensors like the EM500-SWL. It operates in the following LoRaWAN frequiencies: CN470/RU864/IN865/EU868/US915/AU915/KR920/AS923. Tx Power is 20dBm and sensitivity is -137dBm @300bps. Thanks to all of this, you can use it with the Helium network as well.

The dimensions of this IoT sensor are 105.4 × 71 × 69.5 mm (Probe and cable are not included). Despite that it features a powerful 19000 mAh Li-SOCL2 battery which provides up to 10 years of service time.

Set up and configuration are made easy thanks to NFC and the Toolbox app for smartphones. Simply download the app and activate NFC and follow the prompts.
