Nebra HNT Outdoor Hotspot Miner is a cutting-edge LoRaWAN hotspot for various IoT purposes, compatible with the first of its kind people-powered wireless network – Helium People’s Network.

The device can function as a part of the fully decentralized network and simultaneously mine Helium’s cryptocurrency HNT. This allows you to provide hundreds of square miles of coverage and earn passive income in the process. HNT is generated when the device is connected, which is validated by an innovative algorithm, called Proof of Coverage. A much greener approach compared to the mining of other cryptocurrencies.

Nebra HNT Outdoor Hotspot Miner supports Helium’s LongFi™ network architecture, as well as Helium blockchain. LongFi™ is characterized by very low power consumption, allowing the device to be operational for five years or more. The technology is also optimized for miles of range and can provide connectivity to thousands of IoT devices.

The Outdoor HNT Hotspot Miner can be located to the side of a building, on the roof, on the terrace or on the garage. Nebra also has an Indoor HNT Hotspot Miner suitable for other purposes.

The device is based on Raspberry Pi and includes also LoRa Concentrator Module, 3dBi Glass Fiber Antenna, IP67 Case suited for outdoor use, Ethernet and Wi-Fi interfaces. It’s easy to setup in minutes through a mobile app.

The Hotspot Miner comes in three different frequency variants – 470 MHz (CN470) for China, 868 MHz (EU868, IN865, RU864) for EU, India, Russia and a variety of other countries, as well as 915 MHz (US915, AU915, KR920, AS923-1/2/3) for USA, Australia, New Zealand and lots of countries in South America and Asia.
